Travis Barnett is an attorney and founding partner at Hood & Barnett, PLLC in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and focuses his practice on family law matters. 

He received his undergraduate degree from Ball State University in 2000 (B.S. Criminal Justice/Criminology and Political Science), and his Juris Doctorate. from the University of Tulsa in 2004. 

For over a decade he has practiced family law, divorce, custody, and juvenile deprived actions. His primary practice area is Tulsa, Creek, Wagoner, and Rogers Counties. He has conducted several trials in these matters, mediations as both participant and mediator, and now also as a parenting coordinator.

Travis is a First Sergeant with the 1-160 Field Artillery, 45 IBCT, Oklahoma Army National Guard. He enlisted the U.S. Army in November 1993 and attended Basic Training in August 1994 at Ft. Sill Oklahoma.

He has served in the U.S. Army and National Guard for twenty one years and has been deployed in support of Operation Noble Eagle (2003), Operation Katrina Relief (2005), Operation Iraqi Freedom (2007-2008) and Operation Enduring Freedom (2011-2012). Hurricane Harvey Relief (2017)

He is the recipient of the Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Medal, Army Accommodation Medal (3 Oak Cluster) and Army Achievement Medal (5 Oak Cluster) along with other awards.
